Traveling with kids
Car seats are on you to bring
California law generally requires children to ride in an appropriate car seat or booster until they're 8 years old or 4'9" tall, whichever comes first — after that, a regular seatbelt is fine. Requirements can change, so it's worth double-checking current rules before you travel. We don't supply car seats, so please bring your own and let us know when you book — it helps your driver plan the vehicle and loading time.
Build in extra time for loading up
Installing a car seat, corralling bags, and getting everyone buckled takes longer than a solo traveler's pickup. If you're on a flight timeline, mention your headcount when you book so we can plan a slightly earlier pickup window.
The Sienna has more room to work with
For families with multiple kids, car seats, and the luggage that comes with them, the Sienna's extra passenger and cargo space makes the ride noticeably less cramped than a sedan.

Let us know the type and size
A carrier-trained cat and a large dog need different amounts of space — telling us what you're bringing (and whether it'll be in a carrier or on a leash) means we show up with the right vehicle and enough room.
Carriers make everything easier
If your pet is comfortable in a carrier, it's the safest way to travel and the easiest for loading and unloading quickly at a busy curb.
Feed and walk before pickup, not after
A short walk and an earlier, lighter meal before your ride makes for a calmer trip for everyone — especially on longer drives to LAX or Ontario.
None of this needs to be complicated. The whole point of mentioning it ahead of time is so pickup day doesn't require any thinking on your part — just a smooth ride, kids, pets, and all.
