Airport transfers get most of the attention, but a good chunk of our rides are headed to the parks or the port instead. Timing looks a little different for both — here's how to plan it.
Disneyland & theme parks
Beat the rope-drop rush
If you're aiming to be at the gates for opening, the I-5 and 57 near Anaheim start backing up well before park opening on weekends and holidays. Building in an extra 20–30 minutes of buffer is worth it if being first through the gates matters to your day.
Hotel drop-off vs. park drop-off
If you're staying at a Disneyland-area hotel, we can drop you right at your hotel with time to store luggage before heading in — no need to lug suitcases through the parks. Just mention it when you book.
End-of-day pickup takes patience
Parks let out in a wave, and rideshare/pickup zones near Disneyland get congested fast in the evening. Booking your return ride in advance with a set pickup time and location tends to go a lot smoother than trying to arrange it on the fly as you're walking out.
Cruise port transfers
Port of Los Angeles vs. Port of Long Beach
Both ports handle regular cruise departures, and which one you're sailing from depends entirely on your cruise line — always double-check your boarding documents rather than assuming. Traffic patterns and drive times differ meaningfully between the two, so we plan the route once we know which port you're headed to.
Embarkation day has a real window
Most cruise lines open boarding a few hours before departure and want you there well ahead of the final boarding cutoff. Arriving right at your assigned boarding time (not right when the terminal opens) usually means less time standing in line — but don't cut it close to the cutoff either.
Debarkation day pickup
Coming off a cruise, you're at the mercy of the ship's disembarkation schedule, which can shift. If you give us your estimated debarkation time, we track for updates and adjust — same idea as flight tracking, just for a boat.
Whether it's a theme park or a cruise ship, the same rule applies as with flights: tell us your timeline and any special stops in advance, and we'll plan the route and the pickup window around it — not the other way around.
